CARE

Knowledge with purpose.

An independent not-for-profit council bringing research, education and institutional collaboration into a shared conversation.

Our purpose

The Council for Advancement of Research and Education (CARE) is a not-for-profit institution licensed under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013. Our purpose is to support thoughtful inquiry, meaningful learning and the exchange of knowledge between researchers, educators and institutions.

We are developing a platform where a practical educational question can lead to a research conversation, a learning programme and a useful resource. Our approach places clarity of purpose, responsible practice and the needs of learners at the centre of that work.

Our vision

A society in which research informs educational practice and learning creates opportunities for people to contribute with confidence, curiosity and responsibility.

Our mission

To advance research capability, strengthen educational practice and encourage purposeful collaboration through learning programmes, knowledge resources and institutional dialogue.

How we intend to work

  • Connect research questions with real educational needs.
  • Create opportunities for educators and researchers to learn from one another.
  • Develop practical resources that make complex ideas easier to understand and use.
  • Support institutions in defining clear goals for learning and improvement.
  • Communicate the scope, status and outcomes of our activities openly.

Who this platform is for

Researchers and research scholars, teachers and faculty members, students seeking research skills, educational institutions and organisations interested in collaborative learning initiatives are welcome to explore CARE's areas of work.

Programme announcements will set out their intended audience, learning outcomes, delivery arrangements and participation requirements. Expressions of interest help us understand the needs of a prospective cohort; they do not constitute admission or a promise of a scheduled programme.

Our values

Intellectual curiosity, responsible inquiry, accessible communication, respectful collaboration and transparent administration guide the way we are building CARE. We value useful contributions and clearly described evidence.
